The human eye is the organ of vision. Sight and vision are different entities. Sight is physical-it is a sensory experience. Vision is how the mind and aspect of the brain interprets these images. Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine that deals with anatomy, physiology and diseases of eyeball and orbit. An ophthalmologist is a specialist in the medical and surgical eye disease allowed to medically treat eye disease implement laser therapy and perform incisional surgery. Due to increase in eye related disorders such as macular degeneration, cataract,glaucoma, dry eyes and diabetic retinopathy. There is a huge need and demand of eye care professionals to deal with eye elements and diseases.
