About the Journal

Neuro Behavioral Science is a sub specialty of neurology that studies the neurological basic behavior, memory and cognition, the impact of neurological damage, disease and treatment. The two fields associated with behavioral neurology are neuropsychiatry and neuropsychology. Behavioral psychology is also known as behaviorism, relies can be improved through behavior modifying techniques. This discipline in general considers issues related to cognition, emotion, anxiety, stress, attention, intelligence, perception, response of deep neurological factors towards behavioral changes and mood. It also includes medical disorders such as parkinson's disease, alzheimer's disease, sychizophrenia, autism, drug abuse etc..,

Psychiatric disorders provide significant research challenges because one cannot easily study the brain. In most psychiatric disorders there is a complex interrelationship between biological, social and psychiatric elements. Psychiatric disorders is also known as mental illness. The important of understanding mental illness is mainly down to the fact that this is the most effective way of battling stigma towards those who have been diagnosed with a psychiatric disorders.
