About the Journal

  Agriculture is the basic source of food supply for all the countries of the world. Raising supply of food by agricultural sector has therefore, great importance of economic growth. Agriculture means to use natural resources to produce commodities which maintain life, including food, fiber, forest products, horticultural crops and their related services. it includes agronomy, horticulture and all terms for the growing of plants and forestry. Agriculture has been characterized by increased productivity, the substitution of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides water pollution and farm subsidies. In recent years, there has been a backlash against the external environmental effects of conventional agriculture, resulting in the organic, regenerative and sustainable agriculture movements. the growth of organic farming has renewed research in alternative technologies such as integrated pest management, selective breeding and recent technological developments include genetically modified food.

  Organic agriculture is defined as an integrated farming system that strives for sustainability, the enhancement of soil fertility and biological diversity prohibiting synthetic pesticides, fertilizers and antibiotics. Organic farming is one way to promote either self sufficiency of food security.
